In Pilot's short three-year history, they've
soared from the smallest of bars to Dane County's largest festivals
and annual events including Fitchburg Days, Cottage Grove Fireman's
Festival and The World's Largest Brat Festival. Packing a full light
and sound show, Pilot pays tribute to the anthemic fist-pumping hard
rock hits of the 70s, 80s and 90s. Led by the powerful vocals of
Shelley Faith, the band is backed by the solid rhythm section of Mark
Munn (drums) and Todd Osborne (bass guitar), with veteran guitarist
Jason Phelps pulling out all the tricks for a high-flyin, memorable
Rock-n-Roll experience!
Shelley Faith draws her powerful vocal style
from her experience as a professional singer-songwriter. In 2014, Shelley was voted as one of the top three performers or performing acts in the "Best of Madison" issue of Madison Magazine. Shelley also performs with the popular country group Angels and Outlaws.
After a disasterous stint as a covert CIA operative, the guitar virtuoso known as Jason Phelps has been offered asylum playing guitar for PILOT in a civilian re-integration program. Jason requests
enthusiasts pack the dance floor and cheer loudly as "The nuclear stability of the entire region depends upon it."
Todd Osborne is a relative newcomer to Madison, but he's
already shared the stage with some of the area's finest musicians. A former
touring member of Honeyshot and The Bad Animals - A Tribute To Heart, he
also currently plays with LUBE and The Shelley Faith Band.
Mark Munn began drumming at the age of 9 and
started his first band at the age of 14.
Mark rose to fame in the early 1990s as the drummer for
the legendary rock group House of Large Sizes, a well known Alternative
band from Iowa. Since then, he has played in various other projects
including local blues hounds "The Shakedaddys".
Mo Davis, former lead guitarist of PILOT now lives in New Jersey. He straps on his axe and re-delivers blazing lead
guitar work for PILOT whenever he flies back to Madison. Mo also still performs occasionally with his hard
rock band The Contractions in the U.S. and in Europe.
